Hello, Wonderfully Witchy people, and Happy Mabon!
The Wheel of the Year has turned once more, and the witches and Pagans among us are celebrating the sabbat Mabon! Occurring on the Autumnal Equinox, Mabon is a time for celebrating the harvest, expressing our gratitude, reaping what we’ve sown, and looking ahead to the future. It is when we celebrate the Goddess changing from Mother to Crone, and the God as he prepares for death and re-birth.
Common rites and celebrations incorporate apples, pomegranates, wines, breads, and nuts. It’s a great time for walking outdoors, offering libations to trees, and feeling grateful for the bounty of nature.
I’m grateful for so many things, and among them is sharing this blog with you.
Have an absolutely wonderful Mabon, and may your harvest be plentiful!
